This Significant Claim About Electric Buses is Made by Nitin Gadkari

Nitin Gadkari on Electric Buses: Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, has stressed the need of lowering the usage of diesel fuel in the nation's public transportation system.

According to him, passenger tickets for electric buses might be 30% less expensive than those for diesel buses.

The Road Transport Corporations of the States Across the Country Can Never Be Profitable Because Their Buses Run On Expensive Diesel, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari Said During A Program In Indore On Monday.

I am speaking with full responsibility when I say that the cost of a passenger ticket for an air-conditioned electric bus can easily be as much as 30% less than a diesel-powered bus.

According to Nitin Gadkari, the national government is going ahead with its goal to operate 50,000 electric buses across the nation.

We need to transform the nation's transportation system, according to Gadkari. The use of affordable fuels like electricity, green hydrogen, ethanol, bio-CNG, and bio-LNG in automobiles should be promoted more and more in place of gasoline and diesel.

Gadkari added that while using cutting-edge technologies to lower building costs in the infrastructure industry is crucial, the entire government apparatus is not accustomed to doing so.
