In advance of the "Make In Odisha" Conclave, Naveen Patnaik invites businesses to invest.

Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, spoke at the Investors' Meet, which served as the opening event for the "Make in Odisha" conclave, in the nation's capital. He urged the investors to make investments in Odisha.

The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry worked with the government of Odisha to organise the event (FICCI).

On Wednesday, Patnaik spoke to the investors and stated, "One of the states in India with the highest economic growth is Odisha, which over the past 15 years has consistently outperformed the national average.

Because of our advantage in natural resources and strategic position, we are quickly becoming a significant industrial destination in eastern India. I ask for everyone's help to make the 2022 "Make in Odisha" Conclave a success."

Between November 30 and December 4, the third "Make in Odisha" Conclave is taking place, with an emphasis on industries including metals and metal downstream, chemicals and petrochemicals, textiles and apparel, along with technical textiles, food processing, and others.

"Odisha has a long history of trade and business. Odisha is currently India's top producer of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. In industries like chemicals and petrochemicals, textiles and apparel, IT and ITeS, food processing, and others, we are becoming a leader "declared Chief Secretary of Odisha, Suresh Chandra Mahapatra.

In a speech about "Make in Odisha," Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries Department, Skill Development and Technical Education, Odisha government, emphasised the accomplishments of the state as a result of more than two decades of stable leadership.

He claimed that Odisha has the nation's fastest-growing economy and has become the industry leader in the mining and metallurgical fields.
