The first automobile from Ola Electric has been discussed for a long, and there have been several rumours regarding its manufacture and introduction.

Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of the business, has officially announced that the automobile will launch on August 15, 2022, in honour of Independence Day.

The confirmation was delivered through a little video that Aggarwal posted on his Twitter account. Additionally, he disclosed that the business would unveil two other "new goods" on July 4th. These items are unknown, however it is anticipated that they would be more reasonably priced electric two-wheelers.

On Twitter, Aggarwal shared a video of Ola's next electric vehicle. A red automobile is seen driving on a road in the footage, just its back wheels are visible. "A picture is worth a thousand words. See you at 2 p.m. on August 15 "Agarwal penned.

Based on what is seen in the film, the electric automobile that was previously hinted at would likely have a simple profile with one prominent character line down the middle.

The absence of a second row door and the possibility of a two-seater variant make it unclear if it will have conventional rear seats.

An affordable variant of the scooter S1 Pro is projected for the second product. Given that the EV maker stopped selling S1 despite its introduction, Ola might as well make improvements to the more affordable S1 Pro and offer it in a new form.

The debut date for the new vehicle was chosen since August 15 has been a key day in Ola Electric's history. Given that the EV company introduced its first electric scooters on that day, the importance of the date is clear.

On that day, both the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro made their debut. However, the business has only been offering the S1 Pro variants for sale in India.
