Booking for the new Q3 begins at Audi India.

German luxury manufacturer Audi has increased its presence in India; it has started taking reservations for the new Q3 against a nominal sum of Rs 2 lakh.

The vehicle is offered in the Premium Plus and Technology trim levels. A full service package and an extended warranty will be given to the first 500 buyers.

The new Q3 will start being delivered by Audi India by the end of 2022.

Audi India's head, Balbir Singh Dhillon, stated in an interview with CNBC-TV18 that the market for premium vehicles is still strong.

"Audi India expanded by over 100% last year, while the premium automobile sector rose by approximately 40%. Even in the first half of this year, it is expanding at 50%. Thus, he remarked, "Demand has been rather good, and I have little doubt that it will continue with the impending holiday season.

"Sales of 40,000 automobiles is what the premium category accomplished a few of years ago," he continued. If we follow the pattern, this year's first half was at 7,500. If everything goes according to plan, we will sell close to 40,000 automobiles this year alone, which means that next year will be even better.

Dhillon anticipates that as time goes on, the firm will become more adept at electric transportation.

"Around 5% of our sales are electric vehicles, but the nation's electric adventure has only begun. We are one of the firms that has introduced five electric vehicles, but because they are entirely imported right now, they are pricey.

However, I am confident that the voyage will only get longer as we advance and as more models become accessible in the nation. Audi has previously said that by 2033, it would only produce electric vehicles. In light of this, we will continue to advance in electric mobility with each passing year.
